Screen does not light up
1. Check if the device is in privacy mode, or if the screen brightness is set to 0.
2. Restart the device and see if the screen lights up. If it does, long-press Reset for 5 seconds to unbind and re-bind the device.
Battery-powered device won't turn on and button won't dispense food
When running on battery only, the device enters sleep/long-endurance mode. Only scheduled feeding plans will execute; all other operations are unresponsive and the device is offline. To exit this mode, supply DC 5V 2A power to the device.
Unable to bind the device to the APP following the manual
1. Long-press Reset for 5 seconds to restore factory settings, reconnect, and re-confirm the WiFi name and password.
2. Ensure the device is within 10 m of the router with no walls in between. If still unable to connect, use your phone as a hotspot to rule out a WiFi issue.
3. The device cannot connect to WiFi networks requiring secondary authentication — switch to a network without it.
4. Long-press Reset for 5 seconds, close all background apps, restart your phone, then retry binding.
Device is offline
1. Check that the power adapter is properly connected and the outlet is live. Power the device on again and see if the screen lights up.
2. Check that the WiFi network is working. Restart the router periodically to clear its cache.
3. If both are normal, long-press Reset for 5 seconds to unbind the device, then re-bind it in the APP.
Videos in the APP pet diary cannot be opened
Check whether the network on the device running the APP is working. Try switching WiFi networks. If the issue persists, close the APP in the background and reopen it, or restart your phone and try again.
APP won't open or crashes on launch
1. Close and reopen the APP, and update it to the latest version.
2. Restart your phone and try opening the APP again.
3. Uninstall and reinstall the APP.
The food container has food, but device and APP both show low food
1. Light-colored cat food can affect food level detection. It is recommended to use dark-colored cat food.
2. You can disable food level detection in the APP device settings.
Temperature/humidity on the device screen is inconsistent with the APP
There is a network delay when uploading temperature and humidity data from the device to the APP. Minor discrepancies are normal.
A newly set language did not take effect
1. After setting the language, wait 1 minute for the device to download and update the language pack.
2. Restart the device and redo the settings after it reconnects to the network.
Pressing the button does not dispense food
1. You need to press the button twice quickly to dispense one portion.
2. Check if the child lock is enabled on the device.
Food not dispensed after sending a feeding command from the APP
Check whether the device's WiFi connection is stable. Try opening the live video to confirm connectivity.
Device did not dispense food at the scheduled feeding time
1. Scheduled feeding involves pan-tilt calibration and a bowl photo, adding about 2 minutes of delay — this is normal.
2. When food detection is enabled, if there is more than 1 portion in the bowl, the device will not dispense more, to keep food fresh.
Cat food is stuck in the food outlet
1. Enable bowl food detection and optimize scheduled dispensing settings by increasing feeding frequency and reducing portions per feeding.
2. Button feeding and APP feeding are not controlled by the detection algorithm. Avoid dispensing more than 8 portions in a short period.
Device shows a food jam warning
Open the food container's dispenser compartment and clear the jammed food. After clearing, wait for the device to fully start, then press the button once to dispense — this will dismiss the alert.
One-tap bowl view is not centered
1. Recalibrate the pan-tilt in the device settings.
2. If the offset is within 15 degrees, it is within the normal hardware tolerance range and will not affect bowl food level detection.
Pan-tilt does not track the pet
1. Check if pet tracking is disabled in the device settings.
2. Check if your value-added service has expired. Pet tracking is a premium feature requiring an active subscription.
No pet video was captured
1. Check if the pet was outside the camera's field of view.

Pan-tilt camera is tilted
1. The device auto-calibrates before each scheduled feeding. Set up more frequent feedings with smaller portions so the pan-tilt can auto-calibrate after being moved by the cat.
2. If still not centered after calibration, an angle within 15 degrees is a normal structural assembly tolerance.
Device speaker has no sound
1. Check if the device volume is set to 0 or if voice prompts have been turned off.
2. Long-press the Reset button for 5 seconds to unbind and re-bind the device.
How the device fire alarm works
When the ambient temperature reaches 50°C, the APP will trigger a fire alarm.
Recommend dark-colored cat food for more accurate food level detection
Certain light-colored cat foods can affect food level detection. It is recommended to use dark-colored cat food, or disable food level detection in the APP device settings. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience.
